- Special Concern for Safety - Smoke sensors, heat sensors and sprinkler systems are installed throughout the facility. Multiple "2 hour" fire-rated zones are located on every floor of the community, and "smart" elevators are tied into the heat detection system. Barrier-free design, fire-retardant materials and the latest in safety technology is used for your peace of mind.
- Convenient Location & Park-Like Setting - Our campuses are located for convenient access to public transportation and all the amenities of the greater local community. We develop our adult retirement communities on parcels of land between 14 and 17 acres, so there is plenty of space for important amenities like extensive walking paths (with benches and shade trees), fountains, gazebos and gardens (many times designed and maintained by our residents).
- Barrier-Free Design - There are no steps in Providence Place Retirement Communities. As a result, our many public spaces (porches, lounges, library, beauty parlor and chapel) are all available for use by every resident. Every room and apartment is ergonomically-designed to bring you the greatest comfort and convenience.
- Spiritual Program - Our on-site chapel, our staff chaplain and our ecumenical array of religious programming, religious services and music are an important part of our social program schedule. We also help arrange or provide transportation to religious services within the greater local community.
- Wellness Program - Featured experts are regularly invited to speak on a variety of interesting topics. Groups and clubs are active within the community including card clubs, reading groups, current events clubs and craft clubs. An on-site therapy department provides treatment, under doctor's orders, and exercise equipment for your personal use. Nursing staff is on duty 24/7 to assist if needed.
