President and CEO — David Leader

As the son of founder, George Leader, David inherited a passion for improving the quality of life for the elderly. After a 20-year career in manufacturing and marketing with Fortune 500 firms, David returned to Pennsylvania to join the family business of senior living. Working in operations for Country Meadows Retirement Communities from 2002-2013, David became Chief Operating Officer and developed a reputation as an innovator and an advocate for seniors. During this period, David reinforced Country Meadows’ reputation for outstanding quality and upgraded their educational and activity offerings, while dramatically expanding the level of resident choice and control.

In June of 2013, David was elected President and CEO of Providence Place Senior Living. Like Country Meadows, Providence Place is owned and operated by the Leader Family and these two “sister” companies are among the largest providers of personal care and assisted living in the Commonwealth. David has helped make Providence Place not only a leader in quality care but also a leader in providing outstanding value to its customers.

David has made time to give back to his profession, having served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Health Care Association and as a member of the Governor’s Alzheimers Disease Task Force.  David and his leadership team continue to be innovators in the senior living field—they are committed to offering residents a community in which they can continue to be in charge of their own lives—deciding when to get up in the morning, what local dishes to put on the menu and what outings and activities they wish to undertake. David believes, “Our residents don’t want us to merely entertain them; they want to continue to lead useful and purposeful lives.”

David received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of PA and a BSE in Civil Engineering from Princeton University. He currently lives on a small lavender farm in the Hershey area with his wife, Liesa, two very spoiled dogs, and two rescued donkeys.

Chief Operating Officer — Kimberley Perchak

Working for a small family-owned and operated company inspired and motivated Kim to work hard, be resilient, and take risks to become successful. In 2009, Kim started working for Providence Place as an LPN. Throughout her career, she has held numerous positions within the organization, such as Connections Director, Business Office Manager, Director of Wellness, and Executive Director. Advancements in her career have given her the experiences to lead all of our campuses to success. She has been instrumental in developing additional strong leaders in our company.

Kim lives in Drums, PA with her husband, Eric, and son, Marcus. She enjoys traveling with her family. A few days a year, Kim will set off on a solo adventure. Rarely does she get the chance to sit with herself and simply be. Solo travel provides the opportunity for her to do just that – embracing being alone on a beach.
