Support for Physical and Cognitive Health
Our program focuses on both physical and cognitive health. Since physical activity stimulates and improves brain function, we invested in state-of-the-art Biodex® fitness equipment at our senior living facilities. Our physical fitness program includes one-on-one exercise sessions and group activities, like the walking club.
Brain fitness really is a matter of “use it or lose it”. We’ve found fun ways for residents to exercise their minds. Through the use of It’s Never 2 Late™ touch screen computer system, and other proven forms of dementia therapy, residents have the opportunity to stay active and connected through technology that is entertaining and stimulating.
As a person’s cognitive needs change, so does their need for care. That’s why we developed dual programs, The Club and The Connections Neighborhood. This continuum of memory care makes it possible for residents to live successfully at any stage of dementia. The aging-in-place approach is innovative, yet proven effective. Caregivers and licensed nurses are available 24 hours a day to monitor residents’ health and safety needs.
